International movement ยท since 2018

Making without producing.

RED brings together artists, designers, architects and craftspeople who do not recycle waste: they give it back its usefulness. A movement, not a label.

What RED is

  • RED is researching and developing ways to protect the environment.
  • RED is recovering what we waste.
  • RED is making useful what has become useless.
  • RED is turning the flaw into singularity.
  • RED is giving value to what has none.
  • RED is regenerating.
  • RED is manifold usefulness.
  • RED is making without producing.
  • RED is originality.
  • RED is creativity in defence of the environment.

The ten points

The map

Every member a point on the world.

Regeneration has no centre. Every accepted member appears on the RED world map with their city and their discipline โ€” never an address, never anything they have not agreed to.

Membership

Becoming part of RED

Membership is not bought: it is recognised. You present your work, the council checks that it holds to the RED philosophy, and if it does, you are in. Membership is free.
